Boutiquey Denim

I LOVE the denim shirt trend that's going on this fall! I just can't find one that looks good on me! I can't decide if it's because it just wasn't meant to be or if I can't find the right size... THEN I ran into this top at Charlotte Russe, part denim, part chiffon = Tammy. I've been through a lot to finally wear this shirt. First off, while I was trying it on the in the fitting room, I accidentally stepped on it when I was having troubles putting my shirt back on (yes, I almost fell over), and I heard the button crunch beneath my foot. No other sizes. So I bought it as it was and sewed the button back on! Thought it was all good to go today for my brother's soccer banquet- come to find out, they forgot to take the censor off! Just my luck that I threw away the receipt and the bag... so I stumbled into Charlotte with a shirt that still had a censor in a Forever 21 bag. If that doesn't scream shoplifter- I don't know what does! Luckily the girl said she recognizes me from shopping in there so she'd take it off for me! Phew.

I didn't do much today! Woke up, went to the gym- I've lost three pounds haha, picked my brother up from the paintball field. I found an apartment that I really like! It looks decent sized compared to Grand View Apartments. So Kay is going to check it out for me :)

I'm about to go to dinner, maybe a movie or out! Haven't decided yet but I have decided on more important things in life... like what I'm wearing ;)

This is my outfit to ROCK my french test.. Yea, I got an 85% BUT I also got confused with an entire section... I did it right, just backwards... oops :) I still have a good great but honestly, i don't even need the class and I can't take french two because of a time conflict with a class i NEED so... I've checked out of french :)

The day has FINALLY arrived- although I wasn't sure if it would ever come.. I'M GETTING AN IPHONE! EEEEK! Sorry T-Mobile, we're divorcing you and marrying Verizon :) Hallelujah! I went into Verizon to look at their phones today and I like the 4s better than the 5 (the 5 is longer... no bueno) so that will be mine hopefully today after I cancel my contract with T-Mobile!

Long night last night- Thursday nights are always long because my partner, Tessie and I, and our ally, Abbie, always stay up until at least 12:15 a.m. to wait for simulation results. We're now third place! Our team name is "Get Ahead." Thank goodness we are finally performing well so we're not team "Fall Behind." One more round left! I didn't get home until 3.

P.S. I got an 89 on my finance exam. Not an A but I will take it! :) I have an A- in the course and need an A on the final to pull an A in the class.. good luck to me cause I will neeeeed it!

I expressed my rights as an American citizen today! I was educated on both parties and voted for the one I thought was better for America. May God bless the USA!!

Finance exam outfit!

Kay had this amazing idea to get up and make herself look presentable on exam days so she goes in feeling confident because she looks confident! I tried this yesterday for my finance exam! I think I did pretty good- so it must have worked. I usually don't shower or get ready before exams (especially finance) because I wake up at 4:00 a.m. to study until 8:00 a.m. and go in and take the test. Yesterday I felt pretty confident about studying the night before so I did my hair, dressed myself in something other than sweats, and even got breakfast! :) We'll see how I did...

The scarf you see here, is the scarf one of my classmates had on while I was giving my huge marketing presentation (hour long presentation) with Nikki and Brooke, and the whole time when I wasn't talking, I was admiring her scarf. So after we were done, I just blurted out, WHERE DID YOU GET THAT SCARF?! And she told me Beau Monde. I had never been there but I drove there right after class to get it :)

As the end of the semester approaches, it's a happy and sad feeling at the same time. It's a great feeling to know I'll be starting my career at the most amazing company, but I wish it wasn't so far away from home. I'm so close to my family! Once in awhile, I'll pull out old photo albums to look through (we have HUNDREDS, my dad NEVER forgot his camera, video camera- I wonder where I got it from :)). I hated taking pictures when I was younger because I JUST WANTED TO PLAY AT CHUCKIE CHEESE'S! But now, I'm so thankful my dad took the time to take all of those and to document memories.

So, I have been SWAMPED with life. Work- I am planning a bridal event that is 2 weeks away! Photography, I am behind... darn seniors and all their pictures!! :) School, well French is taking over my life, I had to plan out my last two semesters at UNK + student teaching stuff, and my TE class is driving me bonkers! So in a nutshell.. that is why I have been MIA.. BUT I'M BAAAAACKKK!!!! :)

Sorry I haven't posted for awhile! I'm not sure where Kay is either! Lately we've been obsessed with this site, laposhstyle.com. They have a ton of dresses and tops of all kinds wih the zigzag/stripe pattern, ranging from about $42 to $58. Too expensive for me! But I found this top that I'm absolutely in LOVE with- for $20 at Target! Here's the outfit I wore today. Today was an easy day. All I did was work and run errands! Lots of errands.

On a happy note, I received my cap and gown the other day :) I'm going to decorate the cap so people sitting up above can see it! I'll post a pic of it whenever it's done :)... a month and a half left!! AHHH!
