Improvise

Don't you just hate it when you go to the store specifically for useful things like seran wrap, tresemme hair spray, and toothpaste, but you find some other things you do not NEED, buy them, and then you're so sad you just decide to go home so you don't spend anymore money and so you don't even get what you came to the store for- in the first place?! This picture pretty much sums that up...
I did learn however, that if you don't want to mess up your hair, just don't take off your hoody all the way and work your way from the bottom up! :)

Reunited via Instagram with old buddies!

Wednesday, while I was at work, I just got SO TIRED all of a sudden! There are certain times of the month that I'm just exhausted and it's physically impossible for me to keep my eyes open. Has to do with my hormones, but it's just awful! So I went home and crashed at 6:30. Same with Thursday! And today! I was planning on making a pinterest dessert but change of plans happened real quick! Here's what I wore today:

The white shirt, I wore it tied and untied! Showed it both ways :)
Light purple V-Neck: Old Navy
White Shirt: Old Navy
Leggings: Forever 21
Combat boots: Charlotte Russe

I got on instagram while I was in bed and found some of my high school friends taking funny pictures and wanted to join in. The point was to strike a cliche pose that girls usually post on facebook. Alex started it, Craig joined in, I invited myself in, and then Adam was the last!

IT'S SPRING! Just kidding..

Buckle's spring merchandise is killing me! Everything I see- I feel like it belongs in my closet!! SELF CONTROL, TAMMY! Space is limited and so is your money! I accidentally gave into this scarf, though. Oh and those jeans. They're my first pair of STRAIGHT jeans and Kay definitely pointed it out! One of the first things she said to me was, "I've never seen you wear jeans like that!" haha I don't know if that was a good or bad thing...
Green & Brown camis: Buckle
Blazer: Buckle
Scarf: Buckle
Combat boots: Charlotte Russe
Arm candy (top to bottom): Icing, Jewelmint, Buckle, Buckle

Pinterest date round 2 was this night! We made pesto pasta with brocolli! It was a success! SO GOOD!

Happy Monday!

I slept SO good last night! Laid down at around 9:30, fell asleep and woke up around 11:00- BUT this time, I was able to fall back asleep! I was pretty well rested when I came into work this morning! :)

Here's the outfit I picked for today:

Dark brown tank top: Buckle
Light brown top: Herberger's
Green blazer/moto jacket-blazer: Dillard's (Gianni Bini)
Jeans: BKE Stella from Buckle
Scarf: Buckle
Boots: Corral from Buckle
"Accept Diversity" bracelet: Good Work(s) from Buckle
Studded brown bracelet: Icing
Beaded bracelet: Made by me!

I love Corral Boots.. they're my favorite! These BKE Stellas fit me to the tee as well, I'm gonna have to look into buying some more of these! They're cheaper than Miss Me's.

I'm getting really good at picking out my outfits for the next day, the night before! Last semester, I got so used to being on-the-go all the time that I would always just throw on jeans, t-shirt, hoody, and a hat and roll into school. It's nice to have time to really think about how all of my clothes can go together and all the different combinations (Thanks to Kaylinda- I can kind of do this now!). Wow, I sound a little bit like a nerd but it's somewhat creative!

Lazy Sundays

Sunday is my day of the week to get everything done at home that I was too tired to do when I got home during the week! Usually this consists of: grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, vaccuuming, dishes, watching One Tree Hill, etc. It's just a lounge day! Normally, BKE Lounge is my go-to for days like this, but yesterday, I felt a little home sick so I wore my KU loungewear. The shirt is just a wee bit outdated- 2008 when we were the NCAA champs but I still like to wear it 5 years later... SO CLOSE to renewing this title last year though! Maybe this year. Rockchalk! Wish I had cable..

Shirt: Sports Authority
Sweatpants: Victoria's Secret
Shoes: Uggs from Dillard's

One of my favorite outfits in my closet!

As I've posted before, I love that Buckle is known for so much layering! I used to be so matchy-matchy (well, I still am :)) that I thought there was no way I could thrown on three tops together and that they would all match, let alone mix and match my clothes! What?! That's just crazy! ;)
Then I met Kaylinda. She is the QUEEN of mixing and matching. Even if it doesn't originally make sense to me, it's still a cute look when she puts it together and puts it on! (I wish I had this problem!) Here's an outfit that I would say is Kaylinda inspired but still Tammy.

Top: Buckle
Longer vest with sequins: Buckle
Shorter vest: Buckle
Leggings: Forever 21
Boots: Corral from Buckle
Necklace: Claire's
Arm candy (left to right): Fossil, Wet Seal, Buckle, Buckle
I wore this outfit on Kay and I's first night out on the town since I've permanently moved here :) We went to Cunningham's and it was a lot of fun. I need to teach her the Gangnam Style dance that I learned while I was in Seattle! I can't wait for her ankle to heal.. we're also going to rock DDR!

Grand Island Shopping Trip!

Last summer, Denise always took trips to Grand Island on Wednesdays and always came back with some cute home decor- either from TJ Maxx, or Gordman's! I heard Grand Island has better shopping choices than Kearney, so I've always wanted to go, but never found time during the summer! Kaylinda was in need of some photography props, and I was in need of some home decor for my apartment so we made a trip to GI this past weekend!

We did some major damage at Gordman's. Believe it or not, the two hours we spent at Gordman's were SO MUCH FUN! We were grabbing all of this cute stuff for my apartment and Kay's photography, listening to great music, laughing at their merchandise! On top of all that- we got GREAT deals! What more could we ask for? :)

Kaylinda found this really funny section on the guys' side, with T-Shirt sayings that my little brother always comments to me. Such as, "You jelly brah?," "You mad bro?" and the infamous "YOLO!"  Of course we're not being serious, but it's SO FUNNY whenever we talk to each other like that! Here's a picture of the damage that we did... By the way, I thought someone stole our cart that we parked somewhere! I couldn't find Kay, and in a moment of panic, I got my phone out to text her that someone stole our cart when really she had it the whole time!

I'll have to post some pictures of my apartment up later when I get everything in order :)
